Chocolate
While chocolate will boost us, it is toxic to the dog in a certain amount. Vets could tell of small dogs that were saved by pumping their stomachs when the owners forgot the candy seat. The worst is the quality dark chocolate. The content of caffeine, theobromine and fat can mean heart problems for the dog, which in the extreme will end in death.
Coffee and cola
For the same reason as chocolate, foods and drinks with caffeine, such as coffee or cola, are also at risk for dogs. Maybe our dog's literally lurking to see if I can put down a cup of milk and coffee. He's got the radar. Caffeine can so arouse the nervous and vascular system that the animal easily begins to vomit, is restless, and such an onslaught can end tragically.
Grapes
A number of dogs poach their fallen fruit in the garden. Even at home they do not despise apples, strawberries or watermelon, but there are species that they should avoid. "Some fruits do not bother dogs, but beware of avocados or grapes, which can cause serious indigestion, allergic reactions and, above all, serious kidney problems. For example, cherries, apricots and pears cause bloating, diarrhea and severe dehydration," says Martin Pučálka, an expert in dog nutrition. For the same reason, do not give raisins to the animal.
Nuts
When you have a weakness for nuts and pour them around the apartment into bowls, beware of the dog. First of all, walsai and macadamias are highly toxic to the dog's organism and cause allergic reactions, poor coordination and shivering. They can be fatal for dogs that have congenital heart problems.
Onion
You're giving your pet leftovers from your plate: So you're making a double mistake. First, you're educational, secondly, you're saving his life. The basis of most dishes is onions, and they do not work for them. "It will supply the human body with a lot of healthy nutrients. Unfortunately, it is very harmful to the dog in larger quantities, because they contain substances that destroy red blood cells and can also cause anaemia. Not to mention that the onion dog is very bloating. Chives, both raw and cooked, are not suitable," adds Martin Pučálka.
