1.Cut the stems of the flower slant

It is recommended to really trim the stems, i.e. shorten them with a knife, not with scissors.

If you've brought closed flower heels and can't wait to see the flowers in full glory, try the hot water trick. According to point 1, place the cut flowers first in a glass of warm water. After a while, move them to a vase filled with cold water and leave them there for 20 minutes. This will help the flowers to open to the maximum size. 

3. Vodka and sugar make the flower elixir of life

Before you put the flowers in a vase, add a few drops of pure vodka and a teaspoon of white sugar to the vase. This potion will delay wilting. If your flowers eventually "bow your head", pour a shot of vodka into the water, and the stems will stand up for another day or two, and you will prolong the joy of the bouquet.

4. Doesn't he keep the flowers in a vase? Adhesive tape will help

Sometimes flowers at no cost want to stand where you want them to be. Especially with the lower vase, they are ambushed differently to the sides. It will solve a small trick with cardboard – from thin strips make a kind of grid on the scale, into which you arrange the flowers exactly as you need.

5. Throw change into the vase, keep the water fresh for longer

But be ware, this does not apply to all coins, you must be copper. Copper acidifies water, which helps prevent mold formation and bacteria from multiplying.
