How to make concrete balls for the garden

Do you like feng-shui-style gardens, especially those with different balls of different sizes? Stones are expensive, but according to our instructions, you can easily make them out of concrete.

When you make balls of different sizes, you make them structure on the surface and leave them outside for some time, they get a patina as if they were stone.

You need: bag of concrete mixture (preferably fine-grained), bucket, masonry spoon, putty knife, large plastic bag, paint and brush, plastic sink with wet sand, inflatable balloon big as you want to have a ball

How to do it
1. Inflate the balloon and put it in the wet sand so that it sticks.

2. In the bucket, prepare a concrete mixture according to the instructions.

3. Begin to apply the finished concrete to the balloon in about a centimeter layer and smooth the surface with a knife, or, on the contrary, give it a structure. Properly prepared mixture should hold.

4. When the whole balloon is covered, put a plastic bag on it and leave to harden overnight.

5.Mix a little new concrete and make a ball from the side that stood at the bottom in the sand. When application of concrete, make sure that the old and new layers are connected. Let it harden.

6. Paint the finished ball with paint. If you want it to look very natural, it's good for gray. But the balls will look just as good and colorful.

Our tip: If you don't finish the last part of the ball and remove the balloon inside, you will create a nice concrete shell, in which you can put a candle, for example.

And if you have a little bit of concrete mixture left, you can make a beautiful bird drink from the leaf according to our instructions.
