Do you have a fragrant flood of purple lavender on your flower bed? You can use the flowers to prepare oils, bath salts, jams, to smell the wardrobe – or make a great lavender syrup from them according to this recipe. You
need2 lite
rs of water, 800 g of sugar, 2-3 organic lemons cut into wheels (you can cut the zest for those "usual"), 1 teaspoon citric acid + 2 full handfuls of lavender flowers (you can leave them even about 10cm stem)
How to do i
t1. Put all the ingredients except the flowers in a saucepan and cook for approximately 15 minutes.
2. Leave to cool to about 70 degrees, then add the washed lavender flowers. Set aside and leave to in leach for 24 hours.
3. Then overcoat over the canvas and pour into bottles.
Our tip: Expect lavender syrup to be very aromatic. Therefore, dilute it more than other syrups, serve with ice, and in a glass you can flavor with a circle of lemon and a piece of mint.
