Last-minute carnival? Here's how to make two girly costumes of your own making

Do you have a little party at home looking forward to the carnival festivities? If you find a moment of time (just a moment), make her a great costume according to one of these instructions.Colpfau-kostuem

this beautifully colored wig, maybe the little girl will fall so in love that she will want to wear it to kindergarten – after all, why not 🙂

You n

eed: multicolored tuil (so that you do not have to lengthily cut strips from the meter, buy straight turd in rolls about 15 cm wide – they tend to roll 23 meters, count that on a regular tutu skirt you need more than one), pieces of fillet in "peacock" colors, colored ribbon, wider gum to the waist, glue

How to do i

t: In order not to have to do with a sewn tutu skirt, make a faster unsuwn variant according to the photo instructions at the very bottom. It's really easy – you just follow the strips of tylu to the eraser. No needles, no threads, one simple knot… Peacock tyl yuchenko does not need to be around the entire circumference of the waist, it should be rich mainly at the back.1. Get your skirt ready. Then start making peacock shacks. Cut the filc according to the photo (sew the bottom brown wheel for perfect effect, but you will survive without it, so that even those who do not own the sewing machine can do the costume) and glue the layers on top of each other in the form of a peacock eye.

2. Then attach the finished meshes in a couple of bits to the row above each other on the ribbon (make a few of them), and then tie the prepared ribbons-sew to the gum tutu-skirt. And that's it.

Little Mermaid

Yo

u need: a piece of blue knitwear and the underlying fabric for the fin (calculate the consumption of the fabric according to points 1 and 2 in the procedure), 5 pieces of organza about 50×65 cm in different green-blue colors, scissors, sewing machine

How to do it: To save yourself a lengthy explanation, watch the video tutorial below. Here only a briefly translated procedure.

1. Measure the child from the waist down (dimension A) and then measure it at the waist (dimension B) and over the breasts (C).

2.You need the base fabric for the fin with a width of B, that is, the circumference of the waist + 10 cm and the length of A+ 25 cm.To tie, prepare 2 strips of fabric 1/2B in length and 10 cm wide.

3. Prepare a C-length knit and the necessary width (about 15 cm for a 4-year-old girl) and a strip of knitwear 2.5 cm wide and about C length on the shoelace (measure exactly how long it needs for the string to tie comfortably behind the neck).

4. Cut the underlying fabric in half, draw on it the shape of the tail fin and cut out.

5. Fold each piece of organza (fold) in half so that you end up with a "square" about 12 x 10 cm in size. Then cut out the shape of the scale from the folded fabric according to the instructions.

6. Then start sewing the fin – take one layer of the underlying fabric, and from below towards the waist on it gradually sew individual scales in rows (see video instructions). Sew the scales about 0.5 cm from the edge and order them so that the neighbors always overlap.Alternate colors.

7. Sew the entire surface – follow the instructions, the rows above each other should also overlap from about half the scale. Finally trim the scales that extend over the edge of the fin.

8. Strips of fabric for tying, knead lengthwise in half and sew. Turn the finished tunes inwards with a seam and iron. At the ends, you can sew a couple of scales for decoration. Then sew to the edges of the upper part of the fin.

9. Take the second part of the underlying fabric and place it face-to-face on the scaled part. Sew around the perimeter, but leave about 8cm free hole at the waist to flip the sewn-in fin with scales on top.

10. Now, hooray for the bra. Take both ends of the knit and tie them to the knot. Attach the knitted shoelace to the knot – and you're done. Now all you need is a suitable t-shirt, tights and ideally a red wig and a great costume is born!
