Does most of your family turn their eyes when they hear the word zucchini? With this brilliantly simple recipe, you're going to transport them. Zucchini waffles are definitely not going to be banged!
1 larger egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup plain flour
A little oil or spray for frying
Salt
Black pepper

1. The preparation is super simple. First, let's finely grate the zucchini. You will need 2 cups, which are about 2 medium-sized zucchini. Mix the grated zucchini with a little salt (approximately 1/4 tsp) and let it stand in a colander for approximately 30 minutes. Then rinse the zucchini well with cold water and squeeze as much liquid out of it as possible with your hand. He can also "wring" it out in a towel.
2. We preheat the waffle maker (to medium power, if it can be set) and oven to the lowest power (about 50 °C) and continue to prepare the dough: In a bowl, whisk the milk, eggs and half the parmesan. In the second bowl, mix the flour with salt and pepper (both 1/4 tablespoon each), then gently work these dry ingredients into the "wet" first dish and mix thoroughly.
Admit it yourself, it's a simple and elegant way to get vegetables into children (and most men :-)) without talking.
Our tip: If you don't have a waffle maker or a waffle plate toaster at home, don't despair. Just fry the zucchini patts in a pan or pancake from the dough.
