A stylish shelving cabinet made of wooden boxes fits, whether you have deep pockets or love fresh ideas. It just takes a good idea, a little work, and the result is stunning.

Who has the supply of wooden boxes – crates, saves on material, but will have to seize sandpaper or grinder. The surface is mostly made of unsized wood and there would be a risk of splintering. Another option is bought already nicely smooth boxes, which they have, for example, in Ikea stores.

You need – wooden boxes, paint, brushes, 4 wheels, fasteners, tools.

How to do it
1. From the boxes, first fold the shape of the shelf and measure everything well. Boxes of unworked wood need to be sharpened until smooth.
2. Paint the individual boxes with the selected wood-suitable colour. Depending on the covering, count on at least two coatings. Allow each one to dry well according to the manufacturer's instructions. Feel free to combine more colors.
3. Assemble the painted boxes, preferably screws, together to the desired shape.
4. Turn the shelf upside down and attach the wheels to the bottom.
