Do you want to enjoy a really beautiful advent market? Then you must go to Dresden. The market there is perfectly Christmas-like, full of goodies, smouths and typical music. You just can't poison it with shopping.

Dresden's pyramid is the tallest in the world.

After years of browsing all sorts of impossible Christmas markets, we still prefer to go back to dresden every year anyway. Where does prague or Berlin go? It is the perfect feast for the eyes, nose and stomach. Maybe acquaintances are warning you not to go out this year, that you'll be stuck at the border. But it's all about luck. It's ideal to leave in the morning of everyday life to be in Dresden until about nine o'clock. By midday, the nearest parking lot is full. But don't worry, a few steps away there are others, or you can leave, like us, a car between the apartment buildings ten minutes from altmarkt for three euros a day. Having a car handy is handy when you're planning a purchase. Especially in Primark you can get angry and walk around with giant paper bags would poison your next stay.

Purchases

For children there are carousels, a train with an expeditioner or a large bike.

A lot of people complain that dresden is expensive this year. But it's more like the discounts that are being pampered by the sellers at home haven't fully erupted yet. Prager Strasse is particularly popular, with shops and shopping galleries. Maybe we have 50% discounts at C&A, but in Germany on Friday the fourth one has not yet taken place. It's the same with the coveted Primark in the Gallery Center. Ireland's favourite shop didn't have much to show for it, too. But frankly, it's not even good to go there for ordinary things. The main charm is in a pletming of things with characters from cartoon fairy tales, great decorations and other crazy things. And these go with us quite expensive, so it pays to buy. Since business is always crowded, it doesn't add to your mood. Plus, you'll be tired. There are plenty of shops, but when planning your trip, keep in mind that apart from today, they are not open on Sundays. Market stalls do.

Markets and monuments

But it's a shame to go shopping on Advent. It's much better to go between the stalls. The main market štrýclmarkt is on altmarkt square. He's dominated by a Ferris wheel and a swivel pyramid. Dating back to 1997, it is six-up and measures 14.62 metres, making it the largest Christmas pyramid in the world. A walk around the market will entertain you and the children, because the Christmas stalls have roofs decorated with fairy-tale creatures. You can eat a typical apple in caramel, fruit on a stick in chocolate from three to four euros or classic Bratwurst for three fifty. We traditionally run off on roast beef with sos in a baguch for five auroras. You can buy a shining Ochranov star or a wooden swivel pyramid, wooden and glass ornaments, candles and a lot of things made of wood and leather.

To the sound of music

A short distance away is the smaller and quieter market on Neumarkt, where live concerts and singers take care of the music. He played us beautifully with a piano complemented by a trumpet. And while you're in Dresden, it would be a sin not to go through some sights downtown. At least go to the Princely Procession at Augustusstraße. It's a 100-meter-long mural of 25,000 Meissen porcelain temers. The work portrays the rulers of the Wettin family in the equestrian procession.

Dresden's youngest market begins behind the Golden Rider.

For fries or couscous

For those who are expensive in the main market, they can cross the August Bridge to the latest Augustusmarkt market by the prime minister, August Strong. Behind the Golden Rider for the second time there is a whole ale of white and gold stalls, where everything is a euro or more cheaper. Because it's an international market, you'll find world-class lychees. For example, belgian stand with fries, North American with barbecue dishes, Kenyan cuisine, Turkish dried fruits, Russian specialties. In the middle of the market there is a beautiful "blue tree", there are pyramids and a traditional Christmas tree.
