How to make an original Christmas pot from CDs

If you find the classic red packaging dramed, make an original piece according to our instructions. You can adapt it to any interior, it will cost you almost nothing and what is best – it can really be handled by anyone in a few minutes. 

5 empty CD covers
remnants of Christmas papers (or fabric)
decorative grass (may not be)
scissors, melting gun

 

1 It's no science. Cut the Christmas-themed paper to the desired size and paste it as a booklet into the CD cover. In this way, you can prepare all four sides of the flower pot, or use the paper only for two and the other two wrappers fill with decorative grass or other material according to your imagination. Leave the fifth box to the bottom empty.

 

 

2 Now all you have to do is warm up the melting gun properly, apply glue around the perimeter to the packaging and fold it into a cube. To the bottom, start gluing them one by one.

 

 

3 Hold the sides lightly until the glue has completely solidified. Then put a pot with multi-poinsettia or other winter flower in the prepared decorative package and you are done.

How to p

– Poinsettie is a sensitive woman who doesn't do well to blow cold air. If you want her to survive the journey out of the store unscathed by beauty, wrap it best in paper and bring it home as quickly as possible.

– She's a little picky about the location, but we'll forgive the admired star for her little mannerisms. Even in the apartment it is squeamish about drafts, but in a bright place with plenty of sunny rays you will score at it. The temperature around 20°C will also please the beautiful winter.

– As far as watering is concerned, poinsettie, on the other hand, is modest. A small amount of lukewarm (this is important, not cold!) water in regular doses is enough for her to be happy. Attention – really badly tolerates spills! If you want to enjoy its colorful foliage for as long as possible, you can glue it once a month with liquid fertilizer.

– But many people may not know that poinsettie look great even as cut flowers in a vase. A short immersion of the cut stem in water heated to 60°C will prevent milk sap from flowing out of the plant. Thanks to this simple treatment, the cut poinsettie will remain wonderfully radiant for about two weeks.
