Some candy moulds and cutouts are retained as family treasure, but time is right for them. Even a lot of edging or baked pieces don't have to end up in a dumpster. We have a tutorial for you on how to clean them.
Perhaps everyone has hidden some "hearts", in which his mother or grandmother already baked cookies. So that you do not have to throw away such a treasure and can continue to use it, just use a simple trick and they will shine beautifully again.

There is no need to spend a lot of money on a special preparation, you definitely have a reliable helper in the kitchen cabinet.
- The first helper is called baking powder. Put the edging moulds in a saucepan of water, add 3 baking powders and boil or leave to soak for at least a quarter of an hour.
- In the same way, you can use baking soda. The proven baba council also says to throw a few balls of crumpled alloil into the water.
- Where both pills fail, try a heavier caliber – coca-cola, which you soak in for 24 hours – as a last-minute rescue.
Whichever method you choose for cleaning, we strongly recommend that you clear the moulds before baking for the first time.
Our tip: A bath in baking powder will also clean silver or gold jewelry (but of course be careful when trying it for the first time).
