You can make a bird feeder with your children in a moment and completely free of charge – you definitely have a juice or milk box at home and twigs for decoration can be found in the garden.
juice
brush and acrylic paints
working knife or scissors (or even gardening scissors for more convenient twig shortening)
different strengths and long twigs
glue or hot melt gun
decoration at will
piece of string or wire for hanging
Ho
w1. Rinse the beverage box properly. With a knife or scissors, make a hole in the front side (it may be smaller than in the top picture, so that the contents of the feeder will be better protected from snow or rain).
2. Paint the surface of the box with paint at will. Allow to dry well.Under the entrance hole and at the same height on the back of the box, make a hole for the perch.
3. Break or cut straight twigs with gardening scissors into equally long pieces and glue them side by side on the oblique surface of the box. When you have finished the 'canopy', decorate the box according to your own imagination – you can glue decorations or paint petticopods, birds, etc..
4. Through the prepared hole, pass through the long twig like a perch, in front it does not want to extend at least 5 cm outwards. To the top of the box, fasten the wire or string for hanging, fill with a suitable mixture of roses and hurrah with a feeder for the garden or balcony.
