Do you have a small or boringly flat garden? So decorate it a little with an herb spiral. All you need is a few stones and determination. We'll tell you how to do it.

garden-decoration-250x250.gifSpiral herb flower bed has been known for a nice number of centuries. Its advantage is that in a small space you can create ideal conditions for herbs with completely different demands on moisture and soil. Gradually, you can change the substrate to fill the wall of stones. On the tip it is best to put dry-loving plants, such as thyme and sage. On Wednesday, I thrive on herbs that can withstand even a half-shade, like lemon balm.
Since most herbs love the sun, look for a bright place for a spiral, preferably in the lee and close to the kitchen. For the exhibition are the best large balochinese and limestone stones. You can try to sused the seeds, but it is better to put there already finished seedlings, which you may have pre-growed on the window.

How to do it

1.
At the selected place, remove the stand and flatten it.
2. Start putting the first layer of stones. The biggest one belongs down there. To the center, lift the wall.

3. First, put a layer of gravel, which will prevent water from sticking in the substrate. Without drainage, the roots would rot.

4. Put the substrate on the drainage. You can gradually change the composition according to the demands of herbs.
5. Plant the herbs. The smaller the spiral, the lower the plants should be.
