According to this guide, you will make a little two in one – a cheerful advent wreath and a calendar for children. Just recycle our favorite handles and add a piece of cardboard and crepe papers or fabric residue.

What you will need:

2DSCN8780_zps112b5d054 handles (you can cut rolls from kitchen towels or use those from toilet paper)

24 pieces of colored crepe for coaking the handles (if you have residues of sewing fabrics at home, just trim them with entling scissors and use them instead of paper)

larger piece of cardboard on the base of a wreath

scissors, green paint, glue, hot melt gun, string

1.
On the cardboard, fold all the handles into a circle and draw an outer and inner diameter. Tune the shape, and then cut out the cardboard circle on which you will glue the finished 'candies'.Paint it with green paint (it may not be completely perfect, most will be hidden under the handles).

DSCN8814_zps2e5ff4502. Wrap each handle in colored paper (fabric) with enough overlap on both sides to tie it in a 'candy'. Before tying, do not forget to fill the package!!!Glue paper wheels with numbers to the finished packages.

3.
You glue the handles with a melting gun to the prepared painted circle. You attach the string as a hanger loop and it's done.

Our tip: In order to make it easier for children to get to the treasures, you do not need to glue the cloth-wrapped red candies firmly. You can try a small, slightly more demanding innovation – stick a piece of Velcro on the bottom of the candy and the counterpart to the cardboard. It just needs to be measured well.
