Start harvesting lavender and make beautiful decorations out of it and into the apartment. When you cut it, it is pictured again for the second harvest.
Lavender is one of the most popular herbs to dry. Cut the flower with a long stem and tie it into bundles. You then hang your head down somewhere under the roof in a well-ventilated place with no direct sunlight. In direct sunlight, the flowers would lose color. The bundles should hang nicely straight so that the plants do not bend. Interestingly, even on the cut stems, flowers still bloom. Start harvesting at the beginning of flowering when the flowers are nice and firm. They have the highest content of fragrant oils. Too blooming is no longer a good time. They could even start to turn brown when drying. From lavender you can make a nice row of decorations. But fragrant bundles are also suitable for hanging in cabinets, where they repel moths.
