Food allergies have recently been inflected in all falls, especially in connection with milk.Sometimes it is an allergy to milk protein, sometimes 'just' about lactose lactose lactose lactose intolerance. Each has different limitations. So how do you get them straight?
And watch out! Intolerance can also be transient, acquired. It occurs most often with disruption of the intestinal microflora after the administration of antibiotics or after a well-suffering intestinal infectious disease. It usually lasts 1-3 weeks until the intestines
"Affected individuals have a lactase enzyme deficiency and are unable to process and absorb milk sugar – lactose," explains Ing. Jiří Kopáček, CSc., as part of the White Plus project. "The activity of intestinal bacteria does not cause lactose to ferment and excessive gas production occurs. The consequence is abdominal pain, bloating and diarrhea."
What does that mean to you? Cow's milk usually needs to be completely discarded, but sour-milk products (yoghurts, zasaks, saucemeal, kefir) tend to tolerate well.Their lactose content is reduced by up to 50%. Semi-hard and hard ripened cheeses also usually do not pose a risk. Caution is still in place, the degree of intolerance is very individual – some people will be troubled by a few steeds of creamy ice cream.Allergies to milk protein – forget about cow's milk products!

This disease is among the most wide-used food allergies. A disproportionate reaction of the immune system and difficulties will provoke even a very small amount of milk protein. It most often occurs in infants – in 95% of cases it appears in the first year of the child's life, the vast majority even within the first four months. About 2-5% of infants are affected. In nine out of ten patients, this allergy disappears within three years."Symptoms include, in particular, digestive problems (diarrhoea, colic, vomiting), skin manifestations (atopic eczema, hives) and respiratory problems (allergic rhinth, asthma). In some cases, we can also observe non-benefits and anaemia," says Ing. Jiri Kopáček, CSc. The solution is to strictly remove cow's milk and products from it from the diet.Replacing them is not easy. Some people may like goat's milk, which contains only a minimal amount of one of the problematic proteins. Sheep's milk, on the other hand, is completely inappropriate, its protein content is even higher than cow's milk.Soy drink is not a saving, either, because in 17 -47% of infants with an allergy to milk protein, there is also an allergy to soy preparations.
