Didn't you get a healthy bear garlic this year? See if you're growing a comb in the garden or behind the fence. It has equally amazing effects!

This herb with garlic aroma grows to a height of 25-80 cm and used to be called dog garlic, for example. It is not a problem to find it, it often grows directly in the gardens, in the park or you come across it while walking on the edge of the forest. In April and May, it blooms white. While bear garlic is collected only until it blooms, you can tear the garlic at ease until the end of summer – both leaves and white flowers are used.

Medicinal herb of the medical comb

You're not going to le
t him

And why should you look for him? Combing acts anti-inflammatory and heals on inflammation of the upper and lower respiratory tract. It helps with asthma, bronchitis, eczema, various inflammations of the skin or rashes. It extes yeast from the intestines, so it will relieve you of unpleasant bloating. It also cleans the urinary tract. And if you chew it or make a gargle out of it, it will disinfect the oral cavity and benefit from periodontitis and inflammation in the mouth. And that's far from the end of the hymn…

How to use the comb

It is best to consume the comb nicely "for raw". Cut it on bread with sour, stir it into spreads, salads, put green herbs in soup. Those who like it can make it their favorite pesto. It is not suitable for tea because of its taste, but definitely prepare a tincture from it. You can also load it in vinegar or wine. If you can dry it very gently so that it does not lose its sharper taste, crush it into a powder that you will take regularly every day in winter. After ripening, you can also collect seeds and use them in the kitchen as well as mustard.
