A glass of egg liqueur is part of the Christmas holidays, as are the sweets. And if you do not want to rely on the contents of the bought bottles, prepare a delicious 'eggnog' at home. You definitely won't regret it!
Recipes for egg liqueur or if you want eggnog there are plenty. Some prefer a cooler consistency and a fine taste, while another likes it when the egg is in good taste. He wants to try it out and find the 'mine' that's closest to your taste buds. We offer you two popular Czech variants (for example, the English prepare it a little differently) – recipes for eggnog from salka prepared cold and "boiled".
Ne
:
5 egg y
olks from fresh eggs0.5 l rum
1 sweetened condensed milk – Salko, etc. (we also have a recipe for a quick homemade salko)
2 unsweetened condensed milks (beware, the pack sizes of each brand vary. When you like denser liqueur and you have eg. 370 ml box, give only one)
2 deci sugar semolina
1 vanilla sugar
How
to do it: Mix the egg yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar and whisk – rather than less, we can easily last ten minutes. Then pour sweetened and unsweetened condensed milk and send again properly. Finally, gradually add alcohol in parts and whisk for a few more minutes. Pour the finished liqueur into bottles and leave to rest in the cold and dark for a few days (in our experience, however, it will not be enough to lie down :-)). After opening we store in the fridge and quickly consume, which is not a problem :-). We serve the liqueur on ice, we can also sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon…Egg
Thi
method of preparation is suitable for those who simply do not like the vision of raw eggs and prefer to give them a heat treatment. We will use the same ingredients (tune them to your liking, someone might add a cup of whole milk or cream), only the procedure is different. So:
How to do it:
Once again, we take the egg yolks thoroughly with sugar, and then in the water bath we begin to heat them. We add condensed milk (possibly even milk or cream) and, stirring constantly, heat to almost boiling point. Be careful, set aside the mixture in time and do not let it boil – if the egg yolks come to a boil, they could knock you down and spoil the pleasure of the delicious liqueur. Let the mixture cool and send rum to it. Done 🙂
