New Year's Eve on your neck and you forgot to buy happy paper hats for your children or friends? No problem! You'll have them with us in a minute. And it won't cost you a penny.

For a quick party beanie, you can do with what you have at home. All it takes is some hard paper, like reinforcement from a new shirt, and the rest of the Christmas wrapping paper. If you have a nice gift bag that you are willing to sacrifice, you will also save yourself bonding.

Need: Cardboard, rest of wrapping paper, marker, scissors, piece of hat rubber band, stapler, glue

How to do it

1 According to our picture, make a template and according to it, cut out the cap from hard paper.

2 Glue the cap with wrapping paper. Wait until it's over. Then cut in the marked place on one side and slide the protruding piece of paper from the side of the other. It's the same as when you're folding a box out of mail. If you don't want to cut it out, you can simply sew the hat with a stapler.

On the hat rubber band, make a knot at both ends. Then click the rubber band from both sides to the cap with a stapler. Thanks to the knot, the rubber band does not get out of the staple.
