I fell in love last summer. It was love literally on the first bite, you know that too? I like anything from puffy dough, sweet and sweet, but the vegetable pie I tasted with acquaintances has become my unbeatable favorite. Also thanks to the fact that its preparation is – of course – fantastically simple and fast. Judge for yourself…

Zucchini pie is perfect as a treat for visitors, over which the ladies cheer and even gentlemen do not frust. The family liked it as a light dinner and the kids call it "vegetable pizza". The best thing about this recipe – apart from the taste of course – is the speed of preparation, so you won't be surprised by an unexpected visit. When you prepare, you do not make a mess in the kitchen, and the cake is in the oven in one or two.

What you need for a salty vegetable pie: 1 p
ack of puffy dough
1 smaller zucchini
1 pepper (red is the best, yellow looks good too)
1 packet of mozzarella (around 120g)
approx. 100 g of ham (according to the taste and size of the sheet metal)
a couple of tablespoons of ketchup or tomato puree
drop of olive oil
salad spices can be added for sprinkling, etc.

How to do it:

1.
If you already have peddly dough in the plate, you will save yourself the work. Take it out of the fridge and let it loose. If you have a dough 'whole', roll it out on a thinner baking sheet the size of a baking dish.
2. Lay out the baking sheet with baking paper and put a plate of dough on it. Carefully pierce it over the entire surface with a fork so that it does not inflate during baking. Then thinly rub it with ketchup or tomato puree.

Crowd4. Cut the pepper into medium-strength strips or wheels and put over the zucchini – I arrange in the gaps between the wheels 🙂
5.
Cut the dripped loaf of mozzarella into thin slices and stack over the vegetables. At that moment the cake is the most beautiful – the color combination of green, red and white is just amazing 🙂 You can also use grated mozzarella, it doesn't matter.
6. You can lightly drizzle the prepared cake with olive oil and then bake it in an oven preheated to 180 °C for about half an hour. Do not leave it there for too long, so that the vegetables do not soften too much.
7. You can serve hot and cold, both taste great. You can add a scoop of sour cream to your plate.

And for coffee, you can try our next favorite goodness from puffy dough – check out the recipe for apple roses.
