And this dream will fulfill almost everyone vertical cultivation, which has a huge advantage – the demands on space are really minimal. 1A wide tube forms a 'garden', a thiner tube will be used for irrigation. We begin by trimming the wide tube to the desired length and measuring the irrigation pipe according to it, plus the addition of about 10 cm.

2 We put a classic drill on the drill and drill holes for irrigation into the upper 2/3 of the thin pipe. If we made holes along the entire length of the irrigation pipe, all the water would flow down to us, and the plants at the top of the grow house wouldn't have enough moisture. Alternatively, you can make one small hole at the bottom.

3 Cut off a piece of geotextiles or burrow so that we can wrap the drilled pipe around it and cover all the holes – preventing the roots from growing inside and clogging the irrigation pipe. We fasten the fabrics by wrapping them with a string. Seal the bottom end of the finished tube impermeably with cork.

4 Now we throw ourselves on a wide PVC pipe. We equip the drill with an attachment (crown) for carving holes. If the vertical flower bed will stand by the wall, remember this, and do not make holes on one side. You would then have three rows of holes, each hole facing upwards at a distance of about 20 cm. We leave the last 20 cm of pipe without holes.

5The turn comes filling – close the pipe with an end cap, insert a prepared irrigation pipe inside and sprinkle about 10cm layer of gravel as drainage to the bottom. After that, we gradually add quality soil and plant with strawberry. Our tip: You can plant the lower floor with a usdder or a loony – they will take care of the decorative look and distract the attention of pests that would attract strawberries on top.

6 After planting, make sure that the grower is properly attached and stable enough at its final position to avoid a gust of wind, etc. In a few months, the plants will grow beautifully, and the tube under them will almost not be visible.

We recommend: All vertical gardening requires careful irrigation, on hot days they really do every day, because they easily go out. And if you find that your sweet yams are being targeted by throngs of non-lethal ants, rub orange or lemon oil around the grow house, it should deter them from further robbery expeditions.
