We enjoy recycling! What about the remnants of wool? If you have a couple of excess clubs at home, make them beautiful Christmas decorations. And don't worry, you don't need to be able to knit…
A piece of polystyrene – e.g. a lid from takeaway boxes
Pins, toothplues or skewers
Dispersion adhesive (e.g. Hercules) diluted 1:1 with water
Vaseline
1. Mix the glue in a bowl with water and soak the wool in it.
2. We choose the shape of the ornament and cut it out of paper. We put the paper pattern on polystyrene and use pins or skewers (toothpies) to shape it.
3. We rub the polystyrene mat and backrests with petroleum jelly so that they do not stick to our decoration later.
4.We tie the end of the wool to the first support. Then we stretch it around the armrests to create the contour of the ornament – in this case, the star.
5. After that, we fill the inside of the star with variously folded ziers made of wool.
6. Leave to dry well, and only then remove the finished ornament from the mold.
