Na stromečku, věnečku či na oknech – sněhových vloček prostě není nikdy dost! Materiál pro výrobu oblíbené vánoční dekorace jsme si tentokrát půjčili v dětském pokojíčku.

Nejdříve jsme považovali za skvělý nápad vrhnout se na výrobu vloček ze zažehlovacích korálků společně s dětmi. Nakonec se z toho vyklubala poměrně náročná zkouška trpělivosti pro dospělé, ale výsledek je odměnou za všechno ‚utrpení‘.

Korálky, které se dají zažehlit (my použili ty z Ikea), papír na zažehlení (např. pečicí), šablonky na korálky, případně zbytky samolepicí tapety.

 

 1 Zkoušeli jsme vločky vyskládat do šablonky, které ke korálkům patří, ale měli jsme jen čtvercovou a do té to prostě nejde (kulatá modrá je ta pravá!). Takže jsme na to šli jinak: vzali jsme kus samolepicí tapety, položili ji lícem dolů, stáhli ochranný papír a korálky do tvarů vloček skládali rovnou na lepivou plochu.

 

2Potom už jsme postupovali klasicky. Hotové vločky jsme pečlivě přežehlili přes pečicí papír – korálky se teplem spojí k sobě. Konce vloček ještě můžete stříknout stříbrným sprejem, ale my fandíme čistě bílé.

At first, we thought it was a great idea to throw ourselves into making swallows from sparking beads together with children. In the end, it turned out to be a rather challenging test of patience for adults, but the result is a reward for all the 'suffering'.

eads that can be sparked (we used those from Ikea), paper for ironing (e.g. baking), stencils for beads, or remnants of self-adhesive wallpaper.

How

1 We tried to fold the flakes into a stencils that belong to the beads, but we only had a square one, and it just does not go into it (round blue is the right one!). So we went about it differently: we took a piece of self-adhesive wallpaper, put it face down, pulled down the protective paper, and folded the beads into the shapes of the butters directly on the sticky surface.

2Po then we proceeded classically. We carefully ironed the finished flakes through baking paper – the beads are warmly combined together. You can still spray the ends of the swallows with silver spray, but we are rooting for pure white.

Zuerst dachten wir, es sei eine tolle Idee, uns mit Kindern schlucken zu lassen, um Mitperlen zu machen. Am Ende stellte sich heraus, dass es eine ziemlich herausfordernde Geduldsprobe für Erwachsene war, aber das Ergebnis ist eine Belohnung für all das "Leiden".

: Perlen, die angezündet werden können (wir verwendeten die von Ikea), Papier zum Bügeln (z.B. Backen), Schablonen für Perlen oder Reste von selbstklebenden Tapeten.

Wie

: 1 Wir haben versucht, die Flocken in eine Schablonen zu falten, die zu den Perlen gehören, aber wir hatten nur eine quadratische, und es geht einfach nicht hinein (rund blau ist die richtige!). Also haben wir es anders gemacht: Wir haben ein Stück selbstklebende Tapete genommen, mit dem Gesicht nach unten gelegt, das Schutzpapier heruntergezogen und die Perlen direkt auf der klebrigen Oberfläche in die Butterformen gefaltet.

2Po dann gingen wir klassisch weiter. Die fertigen Flocken haben wir sorgfältig durch Backpapier gebügelt – die Perlen werden herzlich miteinander kombiniert. Sie können immer noch die Enden der Schwalben mit Silberspray sprühen, aber wir wurzeln für reines Weiß.
