We've never missed this candy for Christmas. My grandmother baked it, then my mother, and I missed him…This year it will appear on my own table for the first time and the premiere according to this recipe came out on the one.

For stuffed nuts we need:

250g plain flour

80g sugar meal

180g butter

80g finely ground walnuts

1 egg

1 tbsp cocoa

a pinch of ground cinnamon, new spices and cloves (together about 1/4 teaspoon)

For the cream:

150g butter

120g sugar flour

80g ground walnuts

50 ml of rum (feel free to take it down, with this amount the cream is very pronounced :-))

How

to do it:

1. Mix flour, icing sugar, cocoa and soggy. Then add the ground spices and really finely ground or blended nuts.

2. Add the softened butter cut into pieces and egg and work out the dough. We leave the finished food foil in the fridge until the next day.

3. From the dough, we then separate the pieces, which we squeeze into the nut moulds. Put on a baking sheet and bake at 180 °C for approximately 15 minutes. After cooling, we knock the nuts out of the molds.

4. Wipe the softened butter thoroughly with icing sugar and rum and finally add the ground nuts. Mix in a smooth cream, through which we fill the nuts and glue them together.
