Do you want to try the unexceeded fruits, but in front of the counters in the store you are wallied? Choosing exotic mangoes or avocados doesn't have to be science. When buying, you just need to follow the basic rules.

Before we start picking avocados or mangoes, we need to know what we're going to use them for. And there's also the question of when. If we want to enjoy this exotic fruit now, we have to choose the fruits that are intended for it. In stores, for example, they are marked with a ready to eat sign or sticker. These fruits are softer and pleasantly ripe.

In the case of the second option, that is, we buy fruits that we will eat prospectily, we buy mango or avocado green and harder. But you have to let it mature at home.

How to let mango or avocado at home ripen?

In order for the fruit to ripen properly, we put it in a paper bag for two to three days and let it run out at room temperature. We can also add an apple to the bag, which will speed up the ripening process.Attention – neither manga nor avocados are good for low temperatures, so we never put them in the fridge.

How are these fruits prepared before kitchen processing?

For both fruits we eat only pulp. To get to it, peel the mango and cut it in two over the surface of the stone. Remove the stone and cut the pulp into thin slices. This will break down the long fibers that mango contains, which can, for example, bother children when consumed in the mouth.
First cut the avocado lengthwise around the stone.The two halves are simply separated, and then we are then pmmed out of the ripe fruit with a soft butter pulp with a spoon.
