Great apple crosses even without dryer

The more we try to deny ourselves and the family excess sugar doses, the greater the interest in naturally dried fruits. Apple crosses according to the recipe of our grandmothers can handle even without a dryer.

Well-made apple crosses are a great weasel for a visit, for a snack for children and as a snack. Of course, it is easiest to make them in the wase. But if you don't want to buy a new appliance, you can do it in an ordinary oven on baking paper. After all, our grandmothers had nothing else. In our country, there's such a schmole, I make them two or three times a week. I'm going to do a great job of processing not very beautiful apples. Less juicy varieties are suitable for crosses, because the slices are more quickly to be heard.

Do you need – apples, circler (slice grater)

How

to do it

1.Wash your apples first. If you don't like the peel, peel it off. I leave it, and then I grate the apples on the circle. It's easier for me than cutting with a sliced knife. I've got one for the other, and it's fast. Because our consumption is great, speed is the most important thing to me.

2. Anyone who wants slices with a hole in the middle to go to the dress needs a special scraper. It sticks to the pit and you do the wheels when you spin. The thinner the slices, the shorter the drying.

4. In a classic oven, it is stored at a low temperature of 50 °C for several hours. For example, you can turn the oven off after two hours and then turn it back on. The whole drying will take several hours. I work in an ordinary electric oven on two sheets above me. When you have an oven with hot air, you have crosses done faster.

6. In a dry household, you can store crosses in cloth bags. When you have damp at home, it is better to put them in a can with lids. You'd better check to see if there's any mold.

Our tip
Otherwise sour apples are also great for crosses, which will get sweeter when drying. You can also dry pears, plums and bananas.
