Flowers, especially balcony ones, need a proper dose of fertilizer. They have only a limited amount of substrate around them, from which nutrients quickly run out. Even in the city you have a great opportunity to make a high-quality and completely organic organic fertilizer. In a vermicomposter, earthworms make it out of bio-seed. Fertilizer is called earthworm tea and you can use it for fertilization because it is full of enzymes and valuable substances that help plants in their nutrition, regeneration and resistance.
What is a vermicomposter
Vermicomposter is a small home composter, in which organic material decomposes with the help of earthworms. The word "vermicomposting" comes from the Latin vermes – worm, earthworm. This composter is ideal for apartments to help dispose of and recycle kitchen waste. You can place it in a dark room like a cellar or a chamber, where the temperature varies between 5 and 25 °C. Earthworms are best at 20 degrees, prefer not to heat them too much. Many people also have a vermicomposter on the balcony.
Instructions for a small home composter
You need – 3 samla boxes with lids (sold by Ikea), knife and oscillating saw, drill, pulley and yive, silicone glue, pistol and non-liquid fabric, drills 3 and 5 mm

ow to do it
1. Cut off the legs with two boxes so that they fit well on the lid of the next box. The feet remain only the bottommost box.
2. In the lid of the bottom and middle boxes with a knife or oscillating saw, cut out the centers. Do not push too hard when cutting. Prefer to cut in the heat, in the cold the lids are brittle.
3. Place the cut-out lid of the bottom and then the middle box from below to the bottom of the middle box and drill the hole with a 3mm drill.
4. With silicone glue, glue the lids from the bottom of the boxes above them. When the glue solidifies, bring in.
6. Finally, place the boxes on top of each other in the correct order and attach a non-moth foil under the lid of the upper box so that they do not get into the apartment from boxes or flies.
7. In the middle box, prepare the earthworms background in the form of soaked cardboard or a layer of cardboard packaging from eggs. If you put the earthworms in place, you can start feeding them. So put about a three-centimeter layer of bio-ruben on them.
Expect the vermicomoster to fully function and compost after about 3 months.
What belongs to the vermicomposter and what does not
*Earthworms can be tasted on all the left over chemically untreated fruits and vegetables, oversized egg shells, coffee grounds and even paper tea bags or toilet paper handles. The smaller pieces of earthworms you prepare, the faster they process them.
*Like any compost, the apartment must not dry out. Therefore, when adding more "dry" material, always moisten it with earthworms.
*Earthworms do not benefit meat or meat and dairy products. Also, be careful about the dosage, because in too strong a layer of bio-amortgamage, they are hard to climb. Add it no more than 3 centimeters. With soil, you better save and add only minimally. If you find mold, remove it immediately.
What to do if the earthworms multiply?
You can offer them to fishermen or ducks – Indian runners. You won't make a mistake even if you let them into a manhole in front of a house or park.
