What would it be for a Shopa salad without Balkan cheese? But it costs a lot. So make it much cheaper at home from cottage cheese.
What we need
500g hard cottage cheese1.5 l water
7 teaspoons salt
How to
do it
Put the salt in boiling water, boil for a while, then leave to cool. Put the cottage cheese in a container with a lid, pour in a cool saline solution and close. Leave to rest in the fridge for four days, but you'd better check it out. Then you can put it in ground paprika, add colored pepper or just put it in a salad.
